About Caroljane

Caroljane was born at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and grew up in the Air Force all over the world. Her dad was an Air Force pilot, who retired after twenty-three years of service at the rank of full Colonel.

As a very young girl, the Colonel’s eldest daughter loved books and reading. At each new duty assignment the priority stop, after choosing a spot for the Christmas tree and fighting over the bedrooms, was the base library.

She began scribbling stories at an early age but then turned her attention to a career in marketing and management and added the joys of raising a son and a daughter.

Caroljane finished her first novel, A Major Seduction, a Single Title Contemporary Romance set in Japan, during the Fall of 2008. The novel has since been completely re-written and during the summer of 2010 it is being queried to several agents. A Major Seduction is the first book in the series: The Colonel’s Daughters.

The second book is Compromising the Captain, which is set in the United Kingdom, New York, and Las Vegas.

Currently, Caroljane lives and works in a small southern town just south of Atlanta which is close enough for her to be a Thrashers hockey fan and to frequently enjoy the Atlanta Shakespeare Tavern.

But, she says, the absolute best thing about living near Atlanta is being close to the meetings, conferences, and wonderful support of the Georgia Romance Writers, a thriving chapter of the Romance Writers of America.
